In the last two home games of the Season both teams took on College of the Ozarks Friday February 10. First up, the Haskell women’s team put up a good fight with the number four team in the nation but lost 58 to 73.
Top Haskell player was Lois Stevens who had 16 points. In the second game of the evening, the Haskell Men’s team defense showed up holding College of the Ozarks to 43 points. Haskell won the game with 62points. Top Haskell player was Brady Fairbanks with 15 points.
In the last home game of the season Saturday February 11, the Haskell Ladies tried to get a win for senior night but fell short 55-65 to Central Bap
Haskell’s top seniors both finished with double doubles in scoring and rebounding. Lois Stevens had 17 points and 12 rebounds. Kayla Davis had 10 pointist College. Haskell tried to play catch up in the second half outscoring Central Baptist 40 points to 30 points but the lead was too much for the ladies to overcome.
For the Haskell men, the team put on a dominating performance handily beating Central Baptist College 108-79. Top scorer for Haskell was senior Brady Fairbanks who scored 41 points, hitting 9 out of 12 shots from the 3 point line. Senior Byron Trujillo scored 18points and hit 4 out of 6 shots from the 3 point line.ts and 11 rebounds. Top scorer for the Haskell team was SydneeJessepe with 19 points.
